Konica Minolta Offers Hard Drive Overwrite Value
Konica Minolta earned "Pick" honors in the MFP security solution category for offering an outstanding value. "Konica Minolta is the only vendor of the many whose security kits we have evaluated to offer its hard drive overwrite function as a standard feature," said BLI Associate Editor Tracie Hines. "Because of this, by purchasi ng the encryption option, buyers of Konica Minolta products can get both hard drive overwrite and encryption for a lower price than the few other kits that offer both capabilities."

"Data Security is a key consideration for all businesses, and as such KONICA MINOLTA has invested heavily in research and development in this area," said Kevin P. Kern, vice president of product planning and development for Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. "With legislative initiatives like HIPPA and Sarbanes-Oxley, combined with the recent highly publicized cases of data security breaches, we believe that the requirements for end-to-end document security will continue to increase. By certifying the entire system architecture of our products to ISO 15408 Common Criteria EAL level 3, and offering extended hard drive overwrite capabilities along with our optional Hard Drive Encryption, we believe our bizhub and bizhub PRO line of products are well-suited to be an integral part of our customers' document security protocol."

Kern added, "It's a great honor that our Hard Drive Overwrite Function with Optional Encryption has been selected as a "Pick of the Year" by the expert team at BLI. Our corporate focus is on the bizhub customer experience; therefore, it is very gratifying to be recognized by BLI, a leading business consumer advocate."
Lexmark LDD: Powerful and Flexible
Selected as a "Pick" in the Scan Routing category, Lexmark Document Distributor (LDD) is a powerful solution that can be tailored to the needs of a variety of different markets, thanks to its customizable document routing workflows. LDD enables users to scan documents at Lexmark MFPs and route them to e-mail addresses, network folders and a wide range of document and content management systems. LDD boosts productivity by minimizing the need for end-user training and reducing the amount of time users spend on repetitive tasks, as it combines multi-step scanning processes in single workflows.

"Lexmark Document Distributor is a very flexible solution that lets users scan documents quickly and easily to faxes, MFPs, network folders and a wide range of document management systems," said BLI Research Editor Ben Curry. "The application is an excellent choice for companies looking for a very flexible solution to accomplish a wide range of scan routing tasks."

"Lexmark's Document Distributor is a proven tool that has been implemented across the globe to help customers simplify processes, increase productivity and reduce costs," said Paul Rooke, Lexmark executive vice president and president of the Lexmark Printing Solutions and Services Division. "We are very pleased to receive this recognition from BLI."
Print Audit 5: Cost Effective and IT Friendly
Print Audit 5 has been selected as a BLI "Pick" for "Outstanding Print Management and Cost Recovery Solution" for excellent functionality, low price and IT friendliness, helping companies choose hardware that is right for their output volumes, track costs, charge for printing and copying, and route documents to the most efficient devices. Ease of use is a hallmark of the solution, since office users require little, if any training for Print Audit 5.

"Print Audit 5 is a very cost effective, IT-friendly solution," said BLI Research Editor Ben Curry. "BLI recommends this solution for organizations seeking a scalable, inexpensive application that has proven itself in the marketplace."
