This study builds on insights from previous InfoTrends research, using the premise that the relevance of print-only outsourcing contracts is in decline.

While there were notable differences across the regions, countries, and vertical markets in which InfoTrends surveyed, developing a seamless customer experience across all communications channels, improving predictive analytics, and developing a mobile communications strategy were viewed by enterprises as top priorities relative to their current strategic planning processes.
Put simply, opportunities for service expansion absolutely exist. This comprehensive exploration of enterprise outsourcing needs, the brand license that providers have to move into these adjacent markets, and the propensity for enterprises to outsource these services in the future is a critical strategic planning asset for market stakeholders.
